We are Mojgan and Ross
Welcome to our Rick Steves' Best of England in 14 Days Scrapbook.
I am an artist and Ross is a software designer and we both are history and culture enthusiasts. This is my 3rd and Ross's 12th Tour with the Rick Steves. In this trip we visited historic places , explored beautiful nature and enjoyed wonderful cuisines. The scenery was breathtaking and inspirational for artworks.
You might ask shy we love RSE Tours so much? Well I will tell you.
First of all the accommodations are great. Hotels are chosen among the local , privately owned and very clean and staffs are super friendly. Transportations are wonderful! Busses are big and enough seats for single profile sitting. You don't have to worry about tickets and passes and no waste of time waiting in long lines. The restaurants picked by the tour are fantastic and you get to try new cuisines and food is always exquisite.
We always try to arrive 24 hours before the tour starts to get over the jetlag if we are flying. We also recommend you to add at least one or if you can 2 nights after the tour, since you have gotten familiar with the country that will be a great opportunity to visit more places in your list. RSE schedule is very efficient but you still have enough free time to take some adventures on your own, either strolling down the streets, or going on a hike, visiting museums, watching a play or checking out local pubs and restaurants and have to meet with the locals.
You get to connect with your tour mates and sometimes make great friends.
Whether you simply take a quick browse through the pictures or read every word, we welcome you to our Rick Steves Best of England adventure and hope it will inspire your own future travels. Let's crack on!
We started our journey from Brookline , NY in a Trance Atlantic crossing. It took us 7 days to arrive to Southampton, UK, with zero jetlag, Yay!
It was another great adventure but we leave that for another Scrapbook.
